What PractiSight handles for you

You run payroll. We turn it into the weekly report the government and your GC expect.

Weekly certified payroll preparation

Complete WH-347 preparation with Statement of Compliance for every covered project, every week, including weeks with no work performed. We track your projects so no report is ever missed, and no pay application stalls.

Wage determination and classification review

The most expensive mistakes happen before payroll is ever run: wrong wage determination, wrong classification, wrong rate vintage. We verify the correct determination for each project, federal or Virginia DOLI, and match every worker to the right classification.

GC portal handling

Many general contractors require submission through portals such as LCPtracker, eMars, Elation, and Prism. We prepare the files, enter the data, upload, monitor status, and correct rejections. You keep your own login and click certify, because the certification is yours to sign.

Compliance education and audit readiness

We explain what the rules require in plain language and keep your records organized for the applicable retention requirement, including Virginia's six-year rule, so you can produce them quickly if they are ever requested.

Our model

What we do not do

We do not run your payroll, and we do not sign your certifications. You supply the payroll data, you review every report, and you sign. This keeps you in control and keeps responsibility where the law places it.

What we do is make sure that what lands in front of you for signature has been prepared and checked by someone who knows these rules cold.

Why now

What changed on July 1, 2026

  • Virginia HB 238 (Chapter 1040): for construction contracts signed on or after July 1, 2026, a general contractor and its subcontractor are jointly and severally liable for unpaid wages, on non-residential projects over $500,000 where the general contractor knew or should have known workers were not being paid all wages due (Va. Code § 11-4.6(C)).
  • The same law expands the civil actions workers can bring directly for minimum wage, prevailing wage, misclassification, and overtime violations.
